Internships at GHLI offer unique opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to collaborate on global health research, program development and implementation, and in some cases, in-country work with GHLI’s international partners.
GHLI interns contribute to international and domestic efforts ranging from data analysis and research to management support. Successful GHLI interns have cultivated new professional relationships and produced deliverables such as articles in the Health Service Journal in the United Kingdom; briefs on health care trends in India; a new performance management database; as well as quantitative and qualitative data for the evaluation of a project in Ethiopia. Read about one of our past intern’s experience working at GHLI.
Internships during the academic year are most often part time and generally align with the fall and spring semester schedule at Yale. Full and part-time opportunities are available each summer in New Haven or in a country where GHLI has ongoing programs. Both funded and unfunded opportunities are available. Please note that funding for GHLI internships is available for Yale undergraduate, graduate, and professional students only.
Internships opportunities are posted to this page, so please check back regularly to explore new internship openings. If you have any questions, please email our Internship Program Manager, Wesley Dixon at Wesley.firstname.lastname@example.org.
